ABOUT THE TOUR

Grand Canyon West Rim & Skywalk

The fastest way from Vegas to the canyon: The West Rim is just over two hours away and features the Skywalk, America’s most spectacular viewing platform.

The Grand Canyon West Rim belongs to the Hualapai Tribe and is a classic day trip destination from Las Vegas. The drive takes you through the Mojave Desert and past Lake Mead before the canyon suddenly opens up, reaching depths of up to 1,600 meters.

The centerpiece is the Skywalk: a horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extending 21 meters over the edge. Beneath your feet, there is a drop of around 1.200 meters down to the Colorado River.

There are also the Eagle Point and Guano Point overlooks, a Hualapai cultural village and optional helicopter tours or boat rides on the Colorado River.

What to Expect

  • Skywalk: Glass Bridge 1,200 m Above the Colorado River
  • Eagle Point and Guano Point with panoramic views
  • Hualapai cultural village with demonstrations
  • Just about a 2,5-hour drive from Las Vegas
  • Optional: Helicopter & boat on the Colorado River

Englisch und Deutsch A lot of people. You have to invest a lot of time to get to the platform/restaurant. We bought a ticket without Skywalk and saved $23. At Guano Point you have better views for free. In photos you have several details and prices. Sehr viele Menschen.
