What you should know before your trip about hotels, the desert sun and adventures outside the city.
Your home on the Strip.
The central Strip around Bellagio and Caesars Palace is ideal for keeping everything close by. Downtown offers Fremont Street and historic Vegas. Check resort fees and parking charges before booking.
Las Vegas has a dry desert climate. Summers are very hot, and winter nights can be cold. Spring and fall are especially good for walks and excursions. Pack water, sun protection and a light jacket.
Red Rock Canyon is west of the city. For the Grand Canyon, the West Rim and South Rim are separate destinations with very different driving times. Check the pickup location, duration and included admission fees for each tour.
