We were on a bike trip from California to Vegas and took the 13 mile scenic loop in the morning before it got too hot. Cérémonie de mariage devant des roches de grès rouge, à un peu plus de 30 minutes du Strip – dans l’un des cinq sites autorisés pour les mariages par l’organisme de protection de la nature.
Les lieux autorisés sont le belvédère sur la State Route 159, Red Springs Boardwalk, South Oak Creek, Moenkopi et l’amphithéâtre du centre d’accueil – 50 personnes maximum, et aucun lieu ne vous est réservé en exclusivité. L’autorisation spéciale de l’agence fédérale BLM doit être demandée au moins 14 jours à l’avance, et l’entrée sur la Scenic Drive coûte $20 par voiture. Le riz, les graines pour oiseaux, les papillons, les ballons et les arches décoratives y sont interdits. Les prestataires de mariage disposant de leur propre autorisation permanente se chargent de la demande et de l’assurance, vous n’avez donc aucun formulaire à remplir vous-mêmes.

Stunning vistas in a short up hill down hill 17 mile loop. At a glance some of the textured rock formations look smaller than they actually are. Plenty of trails, bring at least a gallon of water per person if hiking trails. Nice visitor center and plenty of parking at turnoffs for taking pictures or walking around. Easy drive around if you don’t want to get out.
Hiking at Red Rock Canyon was well worth it, the scenery was gorgeous! The trail diversity between the different destinations made for an awesome outdoor experience that was unexpected for Vegas. Highly recommend it but come prepared, it can get very windy depending on altitude.
I absolutely love this place. Great facilities beautiful area. Make sure your battery is charged on your phone or your camera. Because you're gonna want to take pictures. Wear good sturdy hiking shoes because you want to go to scramble around on the rocks. There are trails everywhere, and adventure behind every corner. And definitely take the loop, it's worth the money.And it supports the park. Ten stars out of five. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
