The Mentalist в Лас-Вегасе

Saw the show while on a recent trip to Vegas. The show was entertaining. Gerry McCambridge is remarkable, and what he does he does very well. Some of the tricks, are really mind boggling. He does a lot of audience participation, and that makes the time is very cool. The theatre is small, which makes the show much more personal, and that is a good thing. So why a 3 and not a 5. Simply put there is tooooooooooooo much foul language. There is no need to use the word "shit" dozens of times. This show would be awesome if the cussing were simply eliminated. Come on, there are a lot of great words in the English language. Using foul language is a cop out, and it is lazy. Gerry has a great act. He is really good, but he kills his act with all the profanity. We had 8 people in our group from a wide range of ages and backgrounds, and to a person they said the profanity detracted from what would/could have been a much better experience. If you choose to go to this show, be aware there is a lot the word shit, I guess you could say you have to put up with a lot of shit to see this show.

Sooo good, the best show we saw on our trip, and in the grand scheme of Vegas it’s an affordable quality act. The venue is small but that gives you more of a chance to be picked and no need to watch a screen like we had to with one of the bigger venues we attended. Basically every trick included the audience and people are chosen from all areas, both my husband and I participated. The humor incorporated was a nice touch, he has good timing! Overall we were very impressed by this show and totally recommend it.

Unglaubliche Schau. Zum Staunen und begeistern lassen. Absolute Empfehlung

We enjoyed the show. The theater is small but intimate. The usher seating us was a bit strange and split us up. If you use a wheelchair call ahead and discuss options. He did some really cool things and I’m not sure how he did them at all!! Entertaining. Lots of audience participation.

A friend chose this show, sadly AND happily I had zero idea that he was THAT phenomenal. I also did not know he piloted/wrote, and was in the series on TV of the same name. His insights, his system and intuition are clearly accurate and defy many explanations. His show is more than worthy of your time and the cost. He is a master at getting most of the audience involved, so don't be shy...! I will go again.
